Quick DIY Home Improvements for a Fresh Look this Christmas

It’s that time of year when houses go through a spectacular transformation from ordinary home to Christmas grotto. But underneath the splendour of all the tinsel and twinkling lights does your home décor look a little dull? Maybe now is the perfect time to get messy so that your home looks fresh and clean, ready for the festivities.

Paint It Merry and Bright

A fresh coat of paint is always a great quick fix for brightening up any room. But you don’t have to go the whole hog and repaint all the walls. A lick of paint can be a quick way to refresh tired looking cabinets, tidy up shabby skirting boards or brighten up your windowsills.

Or maybe it’s time to dig out the sandpaper to sand down and revarnish to add that lustre and shine back into your favourite furniture.
